Im representing a large organisation who currently are in need for an experienced Senior Storage Engineer keen on utilising there problem-solving and analytical skills in a very team-oriented environment.rn rnThe role itself encompasses a wide variety of IBM Storage Systems including:rn rn rn1) IBM System Storage DS Seriesrn rn2) IBM SANS Volume Controller (SVC)rn rn3) IBM Tivoli Storage Manager (TSM)rn rn4) IBM Total Storage Productivity Centre (TPC)rn rn rnThe scope of the role stems from a SAN implementation venture, and ranges from maintaining their current SAN architecture, providing input into new designs, integrating new systems, and building new storage area networks to liaising with 3rd party suppliers and vendors on product selection and implementation.rn rn rnRequirements for this role include:rn rn1) Extensive knowledge and experience in a broad range of the IBM technologies stated abovern rn2) Background with DESIGNING and IMPLEMENTATION of SANrn rn3) Experience working with Disaster Recovery and High Availability solutionsrn rn4) Some exposure to IBM AIX and MS operating systems, VMware, Citric, Exchange, and AD.rn rn5) Appreciation and respect of business relationships in regards to outsourcing business partners and service providers.rn rn
